Adult Hwal Moo (Life Defense) Tae Kwon Do The study of traditional Korean mixed martial arts for practical combat and self-defense.  Learning forms, sparring, and breaking are distinct parts of the curriculum which each student may choose to participate in.  Hwal Moo is a combination of numerous styles (Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Judo, Jujitsu, and Muay Thai Kickboxing) to defend against both single and multiple attackers.


Ground Fighting  Commonly referred to as “Ju-Jitsu” this fighting style ensures each student understands how to fight and defend themselves from the ground, should a fight end up there.  Take downs, Mounts, Reversals, Submissions, Chokes and related skills are taught to provide students with many options in these situations.Special sessions for Law Enforcement Officers focusing on weapon retention and regaining an upright position immediately are also available.

Muay Thai Kickboxing
  Looking to learn Muay-Thai Kickboxing?  Combining a challenging mix of cardiovascular workouts and detailed techniques this course will enable each student to gain proficiency and abilities unequaled to any other programs in the area.  Focusing on utilizing all of the body’s natural weapons—punches, kicks, elbows, knees, this fighting style is both practical and devastating to opponents.

Hand To Hand Combat and Defensive Tactics  As mentioned elsewhere on this site, Grandmaster Lee’s system of martial art is named “Hwal Moo” which means “Life Defense”.  It was specifically designed to provide the student with skills that would allow them to protect themselves in any situation; whether confronted with simple verbal or physical assault, more violent skilled assaults, and/or weapons, such as a stick, knife or gun.This course is reserved for Law Enforcement, Military and Government employees only.  Proof of membership and an “interview” is required.
